I’m Mike your friend in Sunny Spain but let me introduce myself properly. I’m an Englishman who has lived and owned properties here in Sunny Mijas Costa for nearly 30 years. I’ve lived here that long because it’s such a lovely area of the Costa del Sol and just the Sunniest place in Europe with an average of 325 days of sunshine a year. 

All my properties are on the same lovely tree lined avenue at Torrenueva where I live myself. The estate is well established and very lovely and not the building site that Riviera del Sol and parts of La Cala are. Torrenueva is situated right in front of the beach with direct access by underpass. Its Blue Flag and the best beach in the area with lovely, sensibly priced, children friendly beach bars with shade, sun beds and a clean sea to swim in

Mijas Costa with 6 miles of Spain’s best beaches running from Fuengirola towards Marbella at the heart of the Sunny Costa del Sol.
